Just Thinking...

Ever noticed how unbelievably wacky Life is?
So many twisty turny weird events, and you never ever know whats going to hit you next. One day you'll be walking down the street being normal or whatever, and then BAM! something happens and you dont know whether to laugh or cry or what. And the event affects you. It spins round in your mind and forces you to think about it. And then, if you're as indecisive as me, you'll agonise over decisions for days or weeks before you either reach a decision or give up.
Some days things happen that could never have been forseen because they're just so unbelievably strange.
Other things just happen and you think, OK, whatever. And never think about it again. Or you'll remember it years down the track and think "wow that was a weird day" even though, at the time, it was just a normal kid of thing.
And how events link to other things, like a catalyst that makes a whole chain of weird and unexplainable things happen. And then you have so much weird stuff to think about that you just cant think about it all at once or YOUR HEAD WILL EXPLODE AND YOU DIE.
GAAHH...
maybe im just going insane? or, more probably, i was insane ages ago...

:)

I was just perusing the marvellous Esther's photo album, and was reminded of how unbelieveably sexy Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) has become. From a small, weedy little boy in Philosopher's Stone, he has turned into a sexy beast!
All I can say is....mmm....
THe bath scene in Goblet of Fire was brilliant, his body is looking great! Shame we didnt get to see more of him without his shirt on though....

MAD RAVING CONTINUED

The rant continues.
But the topic changes...
HAIR!
dont you hate how you go to the hairdressers, and they cut your hair and they'll blow dry it or whatever, and you look at it in the mirror, and then for the whole day it looks great and marvellous and fantabulous. Then the next morning you hop in the shower, then get out and LO AND BEHOLD its a nightmare. So you try a bit of gel in it, and that only serves to make it stick out another 50% or whatever. So you blowdry, straighten, spray it, whatever else you can think of, and it still doesnt look anywhere near as good as how the hairdresser did it.
So you give up for a day and go around with semi-decent hair.
The next day you try something different, and it still doesnt look as good as it did on that first, glorious haircut day.
And then deep down, you know that your hair is not going to look as good as it did that day because the hair dresser is a trained and experienced professional, and you arent. you just suck. and it hurts.
It hurts a lot. Oh yes. And you want to tear your hair out and hide away from society because you dont have the necessary skills to do your hair as good as that person in that movie or on that tv show or the one in the goddamn mirror at the hairdressers.
Well thats how I feel about it anyway. Any thoughts???

Why I hate technology, and other things

OK. Today I wont be talking about what I had for breakfast (chocolate cake) or why I felt the need to strangle my 8 year old cousin (Laura: "Caitlin,.... Im booooored...." Cait: *twitch*)

No.
Today I shall be talking about the big stuff. Real stuff. Stuff that really really REALLY irks me.
Namely, technology.
I just spent the good part of an hour having an argument with my mum about the computer mouse. Why? She was convinced that the ball needed cleaning but couldnt open the little thing that holds it in. But she wont let me take it, because even though the mouse would only move in tiny little jerks, she was still looking on the internet and would not relinquish the mouse for my inspection. So I said fine, I'll watch TV and you can go crazy with the mouse in the meantime. So I watch TV for a little bit, and then she finishes doing whatever it was and I begin my inspection. Using my noggin and a mini screwdriver i get the little thing around the ball open and give the inside of the mouse a good clean. I try changing the batteries with ones i found in the drawer (they turned out to be flat)
I unplug the mouse, restart, swap the mouse, everything ii can possibly do short of running out right now to buy a new one. Then I ask whether we have any new AAA batteries. Turns out, there's some in the drawer up the back room. So I go and get them, put them in, and voila! mouse works most grandly. (is that even a word??)
So yeh.
*twitch*
I also hate when the Internet drops out with no possible explanation other than it's being a smartarse. Which happens. frequently. Or the computer goes slow for the same reason. Or freezes entirely. If it werent for my completely uncurable and life-depend-on-able addiction to said computer for entertainment reasons (yes, i believe TV is generally the devil, except on special and very rare occasions) then I would throw every computer in the house out the window and then use the bits to make stuff that I want to make out of the circuitry and stuff.
And then I would go live in a cave with no technology at all, save my phone, stereo and mp3 player because music is the only thing that leaves me my sanity, and for some reason i cant be seperated from my phone for that long. I cant explain that. Perhaps it is the groovy alarm clock?

I cant be bothered ranting like this anymore tonight, so I shall continue my story on why I want to be a hermit later on.
In other news, I have a job interview at Zagames on Tuesday after my Uni enrolment day thingamajiggada.
Hopefully I shall dazzle my prospective employer with my wit, charm and astounding pizza making skills and they will say "You're hired!" and i will say "yay" and I can leave the horrible horrible place that i am working in forever. If not, well I will continue to work in said place and look for something better in the meantime...
Alas, I now have to go and pick my brother up from a party, so that is the end of my writing at present.
OH yeh, cn anyone explain to me how i add comments into my own blog?
thanks :)

i forgot...

I forgot to say I bought a swishy, swirly new skirt today.
Its black and swishy!

Ahoy

So here I am.
Esther made me do a blog so that she could read it and leave comments and otherwise entertain herself by perusing my MSN space.
And I read her blog and I must say, it is a grand blog. Go look at it! That's an order! http://spaces.msn.com/members/eskimoegirl/PersonalSpace.aspx?owner=1
(hopefully that link works)
Anyway.
What to write? OOOH! I got my haircut today, and it looks grand. See my photo album for some pics!
Tomorrow I shall be off (at no later than 7am....*groan*) to babysit my darling *cough* cousins, aged 8 and 4.
FUN...
I shall be returning on Friday night, and hopefuly, I shall still be in one piece.....
I do believe that shall be all for now.
:)
